Very excited to build up my new 2017 Instinct BC Edition yesterday. Had a rough surgery late 2016 on my shoulder so I'm super pumped to have new hardware in there and under my pedals! This thing is evil looking and I love it. I usually ride a Large in other brands but sized up to an XL for this bike, dropper is slammed all the way and may be a touch too high still but it feels great reach wise, etc. Beyond stoked to get out there in the spring and tear things up!
Here is my custom 2014 Soul 29. Only thing left stock is the brake calipers and levers. I put way too much money into it but it doesn't matter because I still love the ride!
e13 race front and e13 plus rear. Just for mud season - ill swap the rear out for something faster once it dries out (maybe nobby nic?). Set up tubeless with the swanky blue e13 valve stems
33 mm reach Renthal Apex stem
SQLabs 611 Ergowave Active Carbon
Ergon GE1 slim grips
Just taken it for small rips around the neighborhood due to snow still but damn, this thing feels fast even with beefy tires and parts. Cant wait to get it out on some real trails!!
My fire sale find last Saturday, RM Thunderbolt 710. Currently borrowing the front wheelset & brakes of my 29er to make her run. She's still a little bit dirty with soot but will probably have the time this weekend to put some more elbow grease in there.
Cheers everyone! Here's my 2015 Rocky Mountain Altitude 730. I'm super stoked on it and how it rides!
