Its been long overdue but I'm finally heading to Wales in August to do a tour of the DH tracks. Can you help me rate them so I know how much time to spend in each place, I made a wee list below to help get started. Feel free to add some.

I usually ride Glencoe, Innerleithen and Fort William, so looking to put some challenging tracks into the mix.

Antur Stiniog
Revolution Bike Park
Llangollen
Rhyd Y Felin
Moelfre
Bike Park Wales
Black Mountains
Cwmcarn

Given what your used to I'd probably give stiniog a miss or do half day there's only 2 routes that will interest you. The other routes are abit dull IMHO. Bit of a introduction to uplifts kind of place.
My mates love revolution and bpw but we're really disappointed with black mountains said it was to short and not that great anyway.
I love revolution to. When it's not pissing down.

I pick stiniog over bpw any day as a dh place.
I've taken my trail bike, my hardtail and my dh bike to bpw, and the most fun I had was on the hardtail.
Forest of Dean isn't to far away from Wales either. Short but fun tracks with a very good uplift service.

Rhyd Y Felin (bala) next to Revs are IMO the best "official" tracks in Wales but only open a few times a year.

Rev's is ok, only been in the pissing rain and wasn't that great but think it'd be much better in the dry.

Llangollen is fun and unique

Stiniog is like a mini Fort Bill

BPW is best avoided on a DH bike IMO

Black mountains is all man made berms & jumps but can be quite good fun.

FOD is short & flat but at least it's mostly all natural.

Never been to Rev, but I would agree with everything else you've said.
