I'm looking for a good 24" xc hardtail for my 7 year old. There seems to be quite a few decent bikes out there for kids now. I'm thinking weight is a big factor. Any suggestions for a good bike, preferably under $1000.

Not sure if Isla Bikes ship overseas, but they produse mainly childrens' bikes.
