I've rebuilt this bike a few times, but this is close to the last version that i want. all i need is a set of pikes to finish it off and i can ride it. yay!

specs:

05 planet x ghost
hs 33 rear, bb7 front
ex 721/ king rear 721/dirty 20mm front
primo hollowbites, cromo axel (Ti axel will be put in after the forks are put on)
e13 SST guide w/ 26t crown wheel drilled out to fit the bmx axel
king HS, thomson stem, easton bars, fire eye seat, azonic pedals blah blah blah...

I can tell you have experience when it comes to bikes and selecting specific parts. I like that everything is new. I just built myself a bike with everything new. However there is things i would change on mine aswell as yours.

On yours i just cant take planet x frames. I had one along time ago and hated it. I just dont like em. I am loving your wheels alot, just wish they are matching, but i guess the rear needed to be rimbrake compatable cause of the hs33.

What fork you thinking. Somthing small and light.

Hate the seat, and pedals. you should get some dx's.
I guess the thomson stem is the elite x4, short version?

atomatik, right? yeah, the seat doesn't rally go with it, but that's purely aesthetically speaking. check the 07 specialized fuse seat or the chromag trailmaster -- a tan seat would look REALLY good on that frame

i forgot to add that the drivetrain is a shimano road casset, alvio road rerailler and a sram attack shifter.

the Thomson stem is an elite, 110mm x 10 degree rise. It was a compromise between having leverage/cockpit room and barspin clearance.

i love this frame, and have always loved Planet X's style and geometry. I figure that the way I've built it is exactly the way the frame was intended to be used, as a trials play bike/ street bike with trials geo.

I'll be running the pike between 90 and 110mm depending on what I'm doing. I've done the full rigid thing for trials and I didn't like it, it just didn't suit my style. *cough* hack riding *cough*

i wish the rims were matching, but them's the breaks.

it's been almost a year long rebuild; being a student, racing DH and getting ripped off by Canada Post didn't help much. SOMEBODY BUY MY TRAVIS! lol
