Okay, so right now I have a 2007 Marzo Super T, and all its gave me is problems. Its leaked many times, the stantions have been scratched (but that is my fault) and have been repaired but still leak. So instead of repairing like crazy, I thought that it might be easier to buy a new fork. So I'm looking for a freeride - downhill, dual crown fork. I'm aiming for at least 200mm of travel, and I don't need all the bells and whistles. What would you guys suggest for me that isn't too expensive?

well I would hopefully be trading in my current fork to my local shop so I can't really order it from another shop. I want to know what would be a good fork for me that isn't too expensive but still good quality. thanks

I don't really need anything too racey because I live in manitoba but I don't want the worst fork, my shop now has a 2006 888 vf2 on sale but I don't know if that is a good fork or not. I wanna know what some good, not too pricey forks are

I thought of a travis but it might be a little pricey, and I've heard they have lots of problems

there a simple fork you can rip on open and have it rebuild new seals and every thing in 10 minutes.. but they need new oil every year like every other fork.

speaking as someone who has ridden 66s, 888s, fox40s, and boxxer teams for solid amounts of time (and a bit of time on a travis) i'd have to say a 888 would be your best bet. they were easily the most reliable of the group. they're not a dedicated race fork like a 40 or a team as their roots are based in the freeride area but they're definitely more than worthy of any dh trails you throw at them. you can buy a 888 with as many or as little adjustments as you'd like (depending on how much you want to spend) and you definitely won't be disappointed. hands down they are the best fork to match all your requirements. hope this helped Smile
