Do you think the platform on the Vault pedal could be too big for some feet... I wear a size 9.5 us / 9 uk Can someone post an image of a caliper or ruler across the pedal? It seems like I should consider the pedal sticking out to the side of my shoe too much.

I use the DMR V8 pedals and there awesome for my size 13 shoe.

I wear a 10 US / 9.5 UK trail shoe on flat pedals. The shoe (Merrill trail shoe) has about 115mm width across the footpad where I make the most contact with the pedal. My pressure area...

My old Wellgos are 100mm across the body where the axle passes through. The front contact area of that pedal is 60mm across with the rear contact area being roughly 80mm across. I love these pedals and, despite being a thick AF and old, they ran perfect. I wasn't looking to change them for any other reason but to get some better kit on the bike. I never slipped off that pedal in all the techy stuff we do. I felt the contact area was definitely solid and adequate with no complaints.

My new (used) Chromag Scarabs are 115mm across the body of the pedal where the axle passes through but I have a solid 90-95mm across the front area and the rear area where my shoe contacts that pedal. They are much more square. It feels different for sure, and I've only done a bit of local stuff with plans to bomb some trails this weekend, but already these feel better under foot.

Again...not sure how those DMR's measure across the footpad but hopefully this gives you something to reference....
