If you use Strava and would like to GPS-navigate a previous ride in real-time on a Google Maps interface, here's how:

1) Install GPX Viewer (Vectura Games) on your android smartphone (from Google Play)
2) Go to Strava on your home computer and log in
3) Go to My Activities and choose a previously recorded ride you want to real-time track on your next ride
3} Click the gear icon and then Export GPX
4) Copy that GPX file to your smartphone (via a USB cable or a cloud service like Google Drive)
5) Open that file in your GPX Viewer app on your phone. You can open it from the app (or click on it in a file manager app)
6) Track will load in a Google Maps interface via GPX Viewer. You can toggle plain map, terrain or satellite views. You can also color the route according to speed, elevation or other parameters that your GPX file has embedded.
7) Go out and ride. Refer to the map via GPX Viewer during your ride when you need to. Your exact position in reference to your gpx track is shown in real-time.
