I have the SB6 and I am sporting it with ST swiss 471 rims but I would like to use wider rims. Does anyone has experience with wider rims in that frame? Will the rear tire touch the frame or will it fit?
yeti website says it will handle a 2.5 inch tire front and rear, I run a 2.5 shorty on the front and a 2.4 minion on the rear with 29mm rims no bother, on a non boosted frame. so I cant see why not.

Im running DT swiss 30mm wide rims with 2.4 tyres. Rides like a dream - low pressures and superb grip
I run both Derby 40 and Envy M70 wide rims with 2.5 DHF DD's with no issues.
As far as as climbing, I personally love the way it climbs. It does have a long wheel base, but the suspension is so efficient that it is a non issue. Yeah, it isn't a XC bike. But I have yet to find a bike as versatile. I just rode a 5.5 and for my size (5'10") I am glad I am sticking with my 6c.
