I would like to carry out an air can service as its losing air pressure , does anyone know if you can get small quantities of oil and the special grease that rockshox recommend,, I know i need to buy a seal kit but also wondered wether to change the valve core if you can get it seperate.. It looks like it comes in the complete overhaul kit but dont really want to buy the whole kit

Hi there I have the same shox and had the same thing happen to mine I took it of my frame put air in it then put it in water to see where the air was coming from. it turned out it was coming from the base of the valve Tube. there is a oring at the base you have to unscrew the tube to get to it. I just change that all was good. I did a air can service as well I went to my local bike shop and asked then nicely if they had some oil ! The grease you can buy from eBay plus you can get a air can seal kit from there as well just follow the instructions/steps on rockshox Web site it's very easy you need some servisol ipa 170 spray you can get the from maplin it cleans the air can and parts. I hope this helps mate don't worry it's easier than you think!.
