Lake District riding near windermere?

Staying near troutbeck bridge this April. Any ideas of 2-3 hour rides from here or a short drive away. Any routes off the bridleways would also be appreciated.

You're really spoiled for choice in that area so I'd advise getting a guide book like The Good Mountain Biking Guide and string your own route together. I'm more familiar with the West side of the lake but there's good stuff all round.
This is one of favourite shorter routes, quite technical in places but good fun.
