I'm looking to purchase a Moots bike in the future and was wondering if any folks in the know have some input for me. I am trying to decide between a MootoX (YBB) and the Mountaineer. Looking at the Moots website, they look fairly similar so I was wondering what might steer me towards one or the other.

My main focus will be longer trail rides and races, maybe some light bikepacking, probably not too much technical terrain. Would like to be able to switch between 27.5+ and 29 wheels.

Has anybody done the conversion on a MootoX to 27.5+? Anybody ridden a Mountaineer with 29" wheels?
Any or big differences between these two models that I may be missing?
