27.5 Spank Ozzy 345 trail rims vs Stans Flow Mk3

I'm looking at wheel build options. Going with hope pro 4 hubs and tossing up these two rims. More interested in durable than lite weight any advice on the spank or the flow rims or any other rims worth looking at.

I have the 26 version of the Spank on Pro 4 hubs since last summer.

Easy to build up, light, durable, and easy tubeless setup.

I can't speak to the Flow's but my Spank are better than the WTB i23 they replaced.

I'm in Arizona (rocky) 190 lb kitted up and after nearly a year I have just a couple scrapes on the Spank which is impressive.

If you go with the Spank I found some conflicting info on the tubeless tape with a bead bite rim. I found going a more narrow tape that doesn't cover the bead bite is best.

I've got the Oozy 295 (Internal 24.5) and the fratelli tape was really bad in my experience. I switched to Stans 27mm tape and was much much easier to install and sealed up nicely.
I did 2 two laps of the fratelli tape going up each side of the bead bite but doing that caused the tape to not stick to the sidewall if you did it too tight, or caused alot of air bubbles if you did it too soft.
Stans is a stronger tape so you can pull on it whilst taping so it sits very flush.

I will second the Spanks. Im 230 and ride aggressively (Southern Wyoming, Northern Colorado) and they have held up great. Stiffer than the Stans in my experience and I have had no burping or tubeless issues whatsoever. I was on EX471 last year and I prefer the ride quality of the spanks.

I just got my 345s laced to Hope Pro 4 in the mail today. However, I am using a set of carbon wheels and have a backup set of Ooozy 295 to burn through before I uses these new wheels...

This is the new style shot-peened matte finish vs. the older, shiny finish. I do like the black graphics on the rims vs. white...
