what is the best way of improving them cheaply???
they're on new rims and its an old brake

new pads, cable, odyssey lever. koolstop pads are spoken highly of, as are odyssey linear cables and monoleverstup remember to lube that cable!


*edit* spray some simple green on the rims, then wipe off most of it. then ride around in circles with the brakes gently applied until it dries. the 'green will clean the rims/pads and leave a coating on the rim that will make the brakes work better.
