2007 Specialized FSR XC Comp Dropper Post

I've just bought the above in really good condition. I was wondering if anyone else has fitted a dropper post to one? The frame size is medium and I'm 5' 10". Given the short seat tube, I'm guessing my options are a bit restricted?

I have an 05 fsr xc and my DNM dropper post just came today. I wondered my self how it would fit. (I actually got the post for a different bike) I'm 5'8 and have a medium frame as well so I'm assuming you ride with your seat higher. I get about a 2 1/2 drop compared to the seat i have on the bike. With out changing my seat it's hard to tell how it functions. Maybe I'll try putting a seat on it and riding with it to get a more accurate measurement.
