Hi guys/girls

Im looking to buy my first 2017 yeti sb5c second hand in a large frame and was after some advise on sizing.
The bike I currently ride is a 2016 specialised stump jumper elite in size xl and feel I'm over reaching even with a 50mm stem.
I've rode my friends 2015 Santa Cruz Branson c in xl and that seems fine.
My stats are 6ft 2 with 33/34 inside leg and ride mainly trails and some down hill sections. Their is nowhere local to test ride various size yetis and I'm going to look at this bike tomorrow.
I know the yeti site says large frame up to 6ft 3 but I wanted to here from the riders themselves.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well it's a bit late on your question, but we're close enough in sizing and I would say the xl may fit better from the demos I've tested. I haven't tried a large yet, but I have taken an xl out a few times and it seems to fit pretty well. Now the large would be right for an sb6 or sb5.5, the front was too long on the xl sb6 and sb5.5. I had to really move forward on the bike to get traction the front needed.
A large tallboy for me was too small at the seatstay length. I have to go with xl in the tallboy, and Bronson. Santa Cruz runs a little bit on the small side. But, I wish I had the direct comparison to a large sb5 for you. My everyday bike is a large 2014 niner rip9 rdo with a 70mm/785mm combo to know where I'm coming from.

Did you end up going with it?
