Has anyone done it? Currently running manitou circus experts. They’re a nice fork except they make and a slight clunk on rebound, not sure if anyone has noticed this too! It’s a minor thing but it just makes them not feel right.

So now it seems that all dj forks use tapered steerer tubes, I can’t find any forks that will fit my bike! I’ve been offered argyle RC forks that have only been used once for a crazy cheap price off a friend. My problem is they are coil and I’ve only every used air preload forks. Has anyone swapped out the preload side? I have a set of sektor solo air forks off my old bike that the steerer tube was too short for my new frame would anyone be able to share any light?

Thanks for reading!

Preload is a adjustment, the side of the fork your talking about is called the spring side. Once you run a coil inside of the fork, it usually leaves scratches that won't make it possible to run an air sing inside the fork leg.
