Malaga, many of the pro teams come for winter training. Best places are montes de Malaga, el chorro, sierra de mijas and the village of ojen where they hold several enduro races throughout the year. Trails can be seen on trailforks. March to June is best time to come before it gets too hot. Hope that helps

I'm looking to spend a week in Palma De Mallorca I've you ride there? 13april to the 23april
Hi, I lived 8 years in Mallorca and still spending some weeks there yearly as my family still lives there. I actually live in Ojen, Malaga province and the trails here are awesome, lot of different terrain. Mallorca is also great for mtb but if you are looking for descents more than XC, then be prepared for harsh rocky technical singletrails. Look on Trailforks, Mallorca is the 2nd area in Spain with highest number of trails on the application I uploaded most of them, and I'm region admin for Spain and Portugal.
Past winter I spend there 2 months with the family and took the bike with me. Check out my blog post about a 3 days ride through the Serra Tramuntana mountain range that traverses all the northern area of the island.
Hey, I’ll be in Barcelona from May 15th-18th and Girona/Costa Brava from May 19th-25th. Will have my gear and would love to rent a bike for at least a spot and hit some of the local mtb trails. Any local companies people would recommend?

Theres also la fenasosa bike park near Alicante, the place to be if your looking for really good shaped lines and tech trails. Also food is highly recomendable there, give it a try if you can you wont regret.
Hi, I'm coming to Malaga in may, well a village called mondron which is about 45 minutes away. I've heard there are loads of good trails but i'm a little concerned as most of the guiding companies have stopped at that time of year due to the heat?!? I'll have a car, i'll have my bike. Any tips on day trips, self guiding and also stuff closer to home (Mondron/ Periana)

Hi, indeed in May usually Switchbacks is not working already, they usually switch to Sierre Nevada, Granada, Guejar and Motril areas in general. Check EnduroMalaga (https://www.enduromalaga.com/) I would say Nathan will be working those days as May is still not so hot. Check Trailforks, I don't see anything in Mondron area, but Almendrales and Montes de Malaga areas are close by. Check Mijas and Alhaurin areas too. All those areas you can pedal up no problem, if you have someone to do shuttles, even better. Any questions, pm me and I will try to help you, lived in the area 4 years so I know lot of those trails. I'm also trailforks admin for Spain, Portugal and Ireland (living here since past november).
I’m going to Ainsa next week. Do you guys recomend flats or clips?
What you like the most? Ride with those, is not a matter of where you're riding but which option is the one you prefer. That said, Ainsa trails in general are not to sketchy/gnarly and there is lot of pedaling involved.
