Quit your job and go ride bike all year round/around the world trip/...

anyone quit his job to just to go riding, or to do a 'on the mountainbike around the world trip' or ... I could live another 20 years with my savings and then I'd get my pension-saving-plan payed-out is it worth it being free all year round to go riding?
