What's your most favorite bodge job?

As it's so quiet in this part of the forum I've decided to have some fun.

Sometimes when you're out riding you're away from the right tools when something goes wrong and needs fixing! So what did you brake and how did you make it work using tools and equipment that doesn't belong there in the first place? You never know your idea might help someone out when they're in need of a quick fix!

When you snap your chain tensioner off improvise Not my photo however I have had to do this before.


Here's mine! not my photo but I have had to do this before... snapped the chain tensioner off my Inspired and heard before of someone using a spoke as a tensioner, it was a real carry on, but it did work Big Grin

Well mine was not out on the trail, but it is on my enduro bike that I do a ton of trials on, and I bodged a chain guide out of some wood and plastic hose
