I have come from the land of Tiny wheels (bmx) and am a single speed fiend....my Scott FR30 is my first full sus bike and i love it. The height and the speed you can get from it is amazing but I do not land softly and due to my heavy landing style I keep snapping pieces off the derailleur from big heights.
I've gone through a couple of standard srams now and both have broken in the same place.
Is there a go to upgrade or a bomb proof option I can get next?
any help is muchly appreciated thank you!

Make sure your chain is long enough. There is chain growth on a full sus so at the bottom of the travel the chain strecthes. If your chains to short it will rip your drivetrain to pieces. If your looking for something beefy check out the shimano saint derailleur. Its what Brett Rheeder uses so it must be good
