Cleaning Fork

Hello, I am about to attempt my first fork disassembly and oil change/re-grease on a 380 Ti. I have never done this before, but have read the 380 master thread a few times and think I'll be good. My question is cleaning everything when its apart. I started a new thread because I think the cleaning part pertains to all of the forks. What is your cleaning method and what do you use to clean everything? I get using a clean towel, but do you use any cleaners or degreasers? Or just wipe it down and reassemble? Usually anything I need to clean oil/gunk off of I just spray down with Brakleen. Not sure if that will affect the seals or not. I've just never had a fork apart before and don't want to mess anything up if I can help it.

Isopropyl alcohol after the majority of grease/oil is wiped up.
