2016 norco range cracked chainstay

I have had my 2016 norco range c7.4 for 1.5 years now and I have noticed a large crack in the chainstay. It is on the left side towards the crank right on a weld. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen or experienced this. I got the bike as an x rental so I'm not sure if I get a good warranty if that. Any feed back is helpful thank you.

P.s I have talked to my mechanic about the issue to.

Its broke bike is upside down


Been trying since October to get a replacement frame, Norco now quoting delivery Feb 2019....
2013 Norco Range... RIP
