so i just got a scott genius two weeks ago with a syncros dropper post 2 i believe, it doesn't return to its full height (only an inch or so from being fully extended) and it makes such a big difference on the climbs! i have to stand up on the pedals, flick the lever and pull it up with my other hand to get it to extend fully! can anyone help?

All ive tried so far is very lightly greasing the post just in case it was sticking

O+

Seat post clamp too tight?

if the seatpost clamp isnt too tight then it could be the air pressure too low - not sure if this post has an air chamber though but i know some do

going to check the clamp when im back from work mate! no idea how i'd even access a valve if it was an air dropper!

It looks like a cartridge type dropper. Prolly the clamp is too tight.
Reverse the clamp directly opposite the seat tube slit.
