Trip to Quebec

I’m heading to Quebec at the end of September for a week. I’ll be in the eastern townships for most of the time but was also thinking of heading to Quebec City area. I’m looking for trail recommendations. I’ll be on an enduro bike and like to ride everything from blues to double blacks. My preferred rides are long climbs with flowy fun downhills (not big on the XC). I’ve ridden the parks at Bromont and Mount St Anne in the past but probably wont have time to get to either of those places since they only seem to be open on the weekends in the fall. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check MTBQC youtube channel. Look for Vallé-Bras-du-Nord in Saint-Raymond (40min to 1h from Qc), Sentier Du moulin at Lac-Beauport or Empire E47 at Lac-Delage (both 20min from the Quebec city). Mount-Sainte-Anne also has a good selection of Cross-Country and Enduro trails open during weekdays.

Thanks for that, looks like exactly what I’m looking for. Too bad I only have three days in that area. Anyone know if there are any trails you can ride at Bromont mid week?

Trail ridding in Bromont is awesome and always open. Lift access is only operated on the weekends but there's a vast enduro/xc network. Check it out on Trailforks. Honestly, you'll have plenty of fun in the Eastern Township, no need to drive 2h30 to Qc city. Around Bromont there's also nice networks in Sutton, East Herford and Sherbrooke. Look it up.

If you make it to Quebec City, take one day and go do the entire Neilson trail in Vallee Bras du Nord. Depending how fast or slow you go, it might take you 4-5 hours. Double check that its not hunting season when you plan to go... The trail is amazing. Though, the climb up the first fire road is savage; might be easier in the cooler weather.

Try mont bellevue in sherbrooke. We got everything from blue flowy trail to double black.
Short climb to the top.

Let me know if you'd like someone to guide you i ride there few times a weeks with a bunch of friends

Thanks for all the input. I’m on my way tonight, should be riding Bromont tomorrow afternoon.

Going to be in Bromont early October.
Likely a weekday.
Any recommendations for a good loop? Happy to pedal to get the goods. Any must do loops? Trails to avoid in rain?
TIA.
