Boost cranks longer spindle?

Do boost cranks (e.g. shimano) have a longer spindle than the equivalent none boost cranks? Don't care about chain line etc just want to know about spindle/axle length. Thanks!

Nope, its the chainring offset (horizontal difference between where the chainring mounts to cranks and teeth of the chainring) thats different.
Boost offset is 3mm which is (148-142) / 2 ... aka width difference between boost and non boost, then halved because you're only looking at one side.
