Raceface arc 27mm rims any good?

Hey,

I found a good deal on a hope pro 4 on RF arc 27mm rims wheel set, as far as I know, the hubs are good but I don't know much abut the rims.

Anybody tries them, know anything about them?

Cheers,
Elias

Look nice and good for XC, but if you are hitting roots or rocks fast they are rubbish, dent really easily. I had some, both ended up in the bin, many similar experiences if you google.

I had a set on my SC, never had an issue. Tubeless setup was easy and they held up pretty well (I'm pretty small though)

I bought a used set and beat the hell out of them they were set up tubeless and always held air.
They are a good value.

Same here, ride hard enough to break a Zaskar chainstay but my Heist 30 and ARC 27 wheels handle drops and rocky terrain and remain True.

I have a set laced to DT 350 hubs. I’ve only been riding them this season, but so far I’ve been very happy. Tubeless setup was a breeze, they’re still perfectly true after some pretty hard Colorado riding, and they seem to be a good mix of weight/width/stiffness/compliance.

With enough googling you’ll find people talking about how they have trashed any rim. I’ve seen a lot less of that though for ARC rims than for Stan’s rims, for what it’s worth.
