Hello everyone.

A friend of mine is thinking about buying a first MTB. Thing is that when you usually go for your first bike you shouldn't spend a million quid right away. Ive been searching around but im struggling a bit.

Here is the thing i need help with:
No expensive bikes. €1000 or thereabouts. (so a hardtail)
What i would suggest is a bit more modern geometry. so a little aggressive hardtail. (ive ben looking at the Nukeproof scout)
Travel 120-130mm (Dont really care about the brand as long as i can find spareparts)
And 29inch wheels.
If possible 1x11/12
And hydraulic brakes
I dont care if its shimano or sram.

I welcome any and every suggestion.

Scout is good choice, also i.e. Dartmoor, Vitus, Ragley. All of them have models to fit your requirements.
