Carrera Luna bike has a power adjuster on the front brake. What is this I have tried to adjust it with no look..

While I am not familiar with that bike, it sounds like the old avid levers with a knob that moved the cable on the lever.

The position furthest from the lever pivot gives less power, but more cable pull,

and opposite for the position closest to the lever pivot, which has more force power, but doesn't move as much of the cable.
