Canyon Spectral or Torque, which one?

So I've pretty much nailed down my choice of bike to the Spectral or Torque, but really stuck on which to buy.

I'm 5'6 and of average weight, but do tend to be quite a heavy rider. I do quite a few bike parks, like bike park Wales, but also ride some more flatish, fast singletrack trails, along with rides on cycle tracks with my little lad.

I generally prefer the look of the torque, and the extra travel appeals, but am just wondering if the spectral could be a better bike for me? HELP!!! What do you folks thing? Spectral a better choice for me?

I believe the Spectral would be a better decision for you. It will be plenty of bike for the bike parks, but you won't feel "over-traveled" and sluggish on single track.

I second that^ I just bought a spectral and have yet to get to the bike park but I’ve hit some big jumps and it feels great. Check out @bikerbrayd on Instagram, he SHREDS his spectral and he basically convinced me to get the bike as I was in the same situation as you. It’s a hucker bike that can pedal extremely well. Only issue I’m having is the low-ish BB height, which I love for jumping but dislike when it comes to pedaling through rocky sections... not too bad tho, I love the bike

I would definitely go Spectral if I were you. I believe Canyon upped the suspension 10mm on it for this year, which is perfect for you.
