700x50c Tires on Rocky Mountain Solo

Does anybody know if I can fit 700x50c tires on my Rocky Mountain Solo? I have 43s on now and there appears to be a ton of space.

The tires arrived today and I was able to mount them to the Sun Helix TR25 SL 29. These rims have 21mm Inner bead width and 25mm Outer bead width. There is plenty of space and appears these Gravel King SK 700x50 could be mounted on a wider rim and still be okay.

This is awesome. I have the same bike currently with 45c TerraTrail and there is loads of clearance, I'm definitely looking at 50c when I need to change them out.

Hey man, that’s awesome you got the 700x50s mounted! I’ve been curious about tire clearance on the Solo myself — sounds like it handled them no problem? How’s the ride feel so far with the wider setup? Gravel Kings are solid. Would love to hear how they roll, especially on mixed terrain.

Yesss, love this! I’ve been eyeing 50c’s for my Solo too so good to hear they fit with room to spare. How’s the ride feel? I bet those Gravel Kings just float over chunky gravel and eat up vibration. Definitely gonna make the swap soon my wrists will thank me Have you taken them on any proper mixed terrain yet? So curious how they handle mud or looser stuff! Happy riding!

UPDATE: When it came time to change out the tires I didn't bother with the 50s. Instead I went for the new Gravelking X1 in 45mm width and I've got to say that I'm loving these tires! Much faster rolling than the Contis but still have plenty of grip for the tracks I ride.
I do think the 50s would fit but was worried that with the stock rims it would round out the profile too much.
