Im looking to start trials riding because it is more accesible where i live I want to get a 26 inch because i don't want to upgrade down the road im looking at an echo pure any suggestions
There is no better bike...... Its up to the rider whats better. However, a 20" is easier to learn rear wheel balance on.
Being a newb, anything will be tits. If you have the cash, try a pure. Thats what I am riding now and I love it, I started on one three years ago, now I am back. However the geo has changed drastically.
The only determining factor is whether or not you actualy like trials. If you do, it only gets better. I would advise you stay away from high high bb bikes. Like +60mm bb frames. Those will f*ck you up right off the bat if you dont know how to appreciate them.
+20-40 is a good mix for start. Infact, I would almost push you to try something in the +20mm range as I have found even +35 requires some serious attention otherwise its a c*nt. Its easy to lose balance but easy to gain. they're really twitchy shits.
So, lower is probably better for a beginner. As for parts. Just do some searching. Good luck.
26 is no upgrade from a 20 inch i no people that have rode 24/26 for years but still prefer 20
its the waay u ride anyfing thats possible on 20 is possible on 26(vissa verssa) so its all on the rider but if ur lookin to buy 20 inch i would look at echo pure(to end) or get as good bike with a budget price from onza maybe the t-rex ???
