Want To Sell But Need An Idea Of A Fair Value

Hello Folks,

I am new here and I'm looking for an idea about a fair market value for two Diamond Back bikes that we have owned since July of 1991. Both bikes were purchased new by us and we have both manuals. The bottles of touch up paint dried up years ago and was thrown out.

Other than dust, both bikes are in like new condition and still have the little nubbies on the tires. They are both complete except for the toe clip things. I think that they were tossed out.

Both bikes have been hanging upside down in our basement since 1991. Neither bike has ever been out in the wet.

The first bike is a 17" Diamond Back Axis. This bike was ridden a total of two times. It has two refreshment bottles/carriers that were likely added.

The second is a 19" Diamond Back Ascent. This bike was ridden a total of four times. It has one refreshment bottle/carrier that were likely added.

I have had a nice person enter photos of the bikes at the following link.

Have a great day!

Both seem to be mid-to-high end '90s MTBs with XT and such. Look around your local market for those types of bike. Now really isn't the time to sell, the market is down signitficantly.
