Awesome bike, really like the brown touches on it! How are you liking it? Any notes? I am currently on the hunt for a new bike and have so far demoed the rail and loved it. Other bikes I am considering are the megatower and process.

Just ordered a Rascal - Stoked! Went for the new T1000 Silver color way w/ a Black Pike Ultimate. Will be swapping most of the parts over from my Ransom Tuned. Should be at the LBS this next week.

Question! I'm looking at maybe getting a rascal as my next bike. Will probably do the GX build and then think about long shocking and over forking the bike. Anyone ever do that? I'd love to be able to get the rascal to be a 150/140, or maybe a 160/150. Any info would be much appreciated! Waiting for my lbs to get a large in so I can demo it. I've been tempted to take out the XL just because I want to feel it out

Tried a rascal last week. Super fun and poppy bike. the only thing I felt was odd was it felt high. Didn't affect the riding, but I was constantly think about it as I rode

It sure looks like the upper link on the Rascal (the one that sits inside the front triangle) will not be able to rotate backwards any further to accept a longer eye-to-eye measurement. Similarly, it doesn't look like there's much clearance to run offset bushings in the shock without the shock contacting the yoke or forward shock mount. So, I think you're limited to running a longer-stroke shock with the same eye-to-eye length, i.e. going from stock 210x50mm up to 210x55mm, which should get you around 141-142mm travel.

There's a Rascal review on VeloNews where the reviewer put on a 160mm Fox 36, and he still really liked the bike. I don't know anything about that site or reviewer, but I guess he liked the review bike enough to actually buy it himself, so that's something.

I have a Canfield Riot overforked to 160mm, and I like it a lot. The suspension design really is pretty excellent for pedalling, which I didn't ever think about until I rode a few other bikes that were woefully inefficient on the climbs. The Rascal should be similar, but maybe a few pounds lighter.

Shame this never took off! Let’s get some pics of people’s builds. I love my rail. Just bought an MRP Hazzard tuned for the rail with a progressive coil. Will post pics and my thoughts down the road.

Has anyone run a dual crown fork on their rail? I weigh 215 geared up and am not completely sold on the zeb/38 (although mezzer looks interesting). If I’m going to add a pound to my fork, I feel like running a 180 dual crown would the best move.
