I have been looking to replace a stanchion on my 2013 model fox 40, and i'm wondering if anybody has had any experience using the newer parts to repair a slightly older model fork, I know there are slight variations as far as the inner taper to accommodate the needle bearings inside the fork, but I would like some reassurance that this particular combination should be fine and/or any advice going about the installation.
