Hi,
Is anyone been riding the new shimano M8110 hubs? Shimano says its 7 degrees of engagement which is almost what the 54T DT swiss hubs gives (6.6 degrees). Is it that good? Will appreciate anyone sharing their experience. I am gonna make the purchase if you guys say its good and build up a wheel.

Anything that is 10 degrees or less is adequate. If you're worried, there is always Hydra by I9.

I have slx m7100 hubs on my 10-45 slx-cassette. Have not felt too much crank movement. On my other bike I have race face vault hubs and x01 eagle cassette.

Those hubs also have shimanos new technology which makes the hubs completely silent. It somehow releases the freehub system while coasting. Rolls so fast!

Cool. Any difference you know betwen the Slx and XT's

Cool. Any difference you know betwen the Slx and XT's

I’ve compared xtr,xt and slx hubs at the shop i work for. In general, the main difference seems to be weight and coating due to use of different materials.Same technology on all of those. Freehub behaves exactly the same way.
