I like Slikoleum also. I did find they went in pretty easily also, so the alcohol idea is good.
I've had them pop out in the past also.

I tried the green skf seals on my 2019 pike, and the air side would pop out at around 60 psi. These were the 2008-2015 sky seals. I ended up getting the oem rock shox seals and didn't have any trouble. I'm not sure if there was a defect with mine or it was a compatibility issue.
