What do the different versions of the Vitus Nucleus mean?

Ive spent the whole day reading about the Vitus Nucleus bikes and im now really sure that im going to purchase one of those. Could someone pls help me once again? Smile

There are different versions of the Vitus Nucleus. I figured 27 and 29 is the size of the wheel. VR is the male Version and VRM is the womans version. What is different about the VRS verison?

More importantly, why is there no womans Version for the 29" bike? If i would want 29" wheels for me and my wife, would my wife have to drive a male version bike? I guess id have to choose 27" for myself if we want the same version of the bike?

The VRW is made for smaller riders in sizes xs-m where the VR is s-xl. The VRW is only 27 since consensus is 27 is better for the smaller sizes. Where as the VR drivetrain is Altus 2x9 w\square taper bb, the VRS gives you Deore 1x10 11-46t w\BSA bb.

Im sorry but i dont understand this sadly.

My wife is 172 cm tall. I could take a small VR version or a tall VRW version for her looking at the size charts on their website. Which one would be better?

For myself (192 cm) i would take the 29" VR version.

In short. The VRS has a better drive train than the VR. Other than that they are the same.

For your size I would definitely recommend the 29 version. For your wife either 27, 29 or women's specific version should be fine as long as it is the right size.

I thought im gonna Buy this bike for sure but now i finaly got around calculating everything and it seems like it doesnt matter wether or not im gonna Order this bike to Germany or switzerland, i will end up paying around 700-750 euro for it including Shopping, fees and taxes.

I live in switzerland and i could Buy a bike in Germany and get 12% tax back when i bring it to switzerland. Means i could buy a bike for 800 euro in Germany and would pay only 700euro for it effectively. Do you think i would get a better value bike in a store for 800 than the Vitus Nucleus for 700?
