XR391 vs XM421

Hi folks,
Ive currently got hope tech xc wheeler (27.5) the id of the rim is 19mm. I've currently got 2.25 cross mark tyres.
Its been an ok setup especially on flowing trails. But when the trail gets a little gnarly its not too good.
Im trying to keep it a bit weight weenie - wish.
I want to upgrade tyres to 2.4wt dissectors, and rebuild my wheels with either xm421 or xr391 rims.
Im 85kg (187bl) and I've only destroyed 2 rims in 20 years of riding. is the xr391 too light. I can get them on a killer sale at the moment and figure they are going to be around the same in terms of strength to my current rims.
Any hints welcome
