I had my post rebuilt by QBP and they installed a black stanchion thats marked 100mm.It seems that the base on the top covering the air valve is too small for a shock pump but the parts cannot be removed like the old gold slider.What am I missing? I tried several shock pumps but the fix would be to remove the base and I can't tell if its removable.

OK you tap the base with a rubber mallet and the center piece pops out.Chris from KS is the only one that I talked to that new this.It still sags even with more air.It may need a cartridge even though this one is basically new.

I’ve rebuilt a bunch of DX’s, if you’ve maxed out the air and the barrel adjuster isn't too far out then the cartridge is probably duff!
