Kona Unit X suspension correction

I'm eyeing a 2020/21 Kona Unit X to be my xc/bikepacking rig. I'm 6'3" with a real long inseam. Other bikes are 2020 XL Devinci Django and 2017 XL (59.5cm) Salsa Vaya, and you'd think I was 6'6" by my saddle height.

I know the Unit is suspension-corrected for an 80-100mm fork. Question: could I get away with a 120mm fork, especially since my seatpost will be real high? Or would this throw off the geometry and balance of the bike too much? I know there won't be a single "answer" to this question, just curious to hear folks' thoughts.

Cheers.

I think the bumping it up 20mm would be totally fine. In my opinion it gets out of hand when you bump it up more than 50mm. hope this helps. cheers.
