Looks like high prices for new diamond back bikes. I don't think they're as good a value compared to other manufacturers at these price points.

You are correct sir. Without the bang for you buck factor, db is not anything special at all.

Edit: wow! Worse than I thought. Release 2 @ $2300 plus corporate discount or coupon got me 1 for under $2k 2 years ago... Now they want $3250!!. DB nooooooooo!

I have 4 DB bikes. I used to have a 20% corporate discount code through my previous employer, but I heard they mau have ended the program. I also snagged a 30% single discount code through my previous health care plan. They gave points for healthy habits and steps. I redeemed a bunch of points for the code. IIRC, I believe the release 29 2 I bought July 2019 cost around $1800 after 30% discount. Even at that price, I wouldnt buy another DB. Ive heard others say they had great support experience, but I did not.

Alternate option is something called expert voice. It offers ok discounts on all kinds of crap. I used my IMBA membership to get a brand affiliation with cycling and outdoors brands. I didnt keep up my affiliate status, but if I recall they had zipp, fsa, diamondback, marin, and polygon to name a few. I let it lapse because discount codes and used market made for much better pricing.
