Anyone here running a EXT Aria? Feedback?

I'm looking to move away from the Float X2 (the 24' has been rock solid btw) but I'm after the dual air chamber feel after loving the hell out of the Diaz runt up front for years

I have a carbon yoke for sale if anyone is interested. Ran it for about 4 months with a push coil. Completely fine no issues I just “down sized” to a regular stumpy and kept the yoke. Message me if interested or check my for sale add. Asking $125 shipped.

I bought a bike online from a dealer that was advertised as a stumpjumper evo ltd.
Initially the dealer didn’t send the adjustable headset cup with the bike.
Now i got the headset cup and it doesn’t fit the bike. The headset cup that came with the bike is oval but the adjustable headset cup is straight on the sides with rounded ends.
Could it be that some Evos dont have frames compatible with the adjustable headset cups?
Or maybe I’m missing something- but I looked at the user manual.
Maybe I have the wrong headset cup?

The bike should come with two adjustable cups. Both are capsule shaped (semicircular ends, joined by straight lines) one has the circular hole for the bearing in the centre, the other has it at one end so that you can adjust +/- 1 degree from neutral.

The cup that came in my bike is oval and the adjustable one has straight sides.
I thought I bought the current iteration of evo.
Maybe I bought the previous one?
The chain stays are adjustable

Just looking through Specialized parts lists there appears to be two different cups with different part numbers. I think the carbon and alloy bikes have a different arrangement.

Maybe see if that's the issue?

Hope it helps.

Does the yoke on your bike connect on both sides of the main linkage or just the inside?

Enter the Image in the icon 6th button in from the left. Not sure how to do on mobile tho. Has to be in the desktop version.

The space in the top tube for the headset cup is round so no way for the cup with straight sides to fit.
Has anyone else seen this ?

Has anyone run a 2024 fox dhx2 coil shock on theirs? Or is it approved?

Also looking a a fox dhx with just the lsc adjustment. Idk if anyone has run those

What about 2024 fox float x2 vs the stock dpx 2? Is it a big difference?

Thanks

The X2 is worlds better than the DPX2. It’s more supple and planted. I was immediately throwing down faster times on my regular tracks. I didn’t think it would as impactful as it was.

10-4 that's good to know!

Dpx2 is decent for high speed straight lines, but yeah the rear wheel i feel like could track better in inconsistent off cambers

For anyone wondering, found out fox DHX (Not Dhx2) is approved for stumpjumper evo
