I 'm thinking of upgrading my rockshox judy silver 100mm to a SID or Reba 120mm.

Axle to crown on judy 100 is 510mm whereas on sid 120 is 531mm. If I' m not wrong these 21mm will slacken the HT angle by about 1deg.

My question is how this will affect the geometry in terms of pedal efficiency ?

PS. My bike is a Scott Scale 965 2021

Pedaling efficiency won't be changed, other than whatever is lost due to the additional fork bob. This is minimal.

It'll be a pretty great improvement; I suggest doing it. I find the Reba is a very good deal. The damper isn't as good as the SID, but with a shorter-travel, firmer fork, damper performance is a much smaller piece of the puzzle than in a long-travel fork.

The Reba will offer better damping and spring than your current fork, along with a significantly lighter weight. The additional travel will be very welcome, as well.
