Hello,

Has anyone got the Guide T’s on their bike? They’re part of the spec on one of the bikes I am after. However, I can’t find many reviews and the ones I have don’t paint them in the best light.

Have you used them? Are they any good? Are they as bad as some reviews are claiming?

In comparison, I’m currently using SLX 2 pot.

Thanks in advance.

I was looking at these too. They are spec’d on many bikes. The caliper seems to be the same s4 caliper as the top of the line guide ultimates. I should be able to swap some guide ultimate levers on and have all the benefits of the ultimates. Im looking at a 2021 5010 with guide t brakes. Im hoping to leave the caliper and brake line in the frame and just swap levers. Seems to be the case.

I've got guide t on my bronson 2020, and i really do not like them...not enough power, and fade on long descent. I tried sintered pads, but they bite less on the slow speed stuff. I want to upgrade too, just not sure yet if just the levers, or new brakes all around.
