Overinflating cult vans tires?

I have a pair of blue camo Cult x Vans tires and on the sidewall they are rated to 65 psi, but I've seen pros use them and inflate them higher. I recently got a pinch flat and dented my rear rim while the tires were fully inflated to 65 psi but I was wondering if a higher quality set of tires like these could be safely overinflated?

Agree

Disagree about these tires being any good though. Animal tires last forever and I never ever ever ever pinch flat them, they are a little heavy though.
