I've been trying to pick one of these Costco fat bikes up all winter (like most of Canada, I guess) without any luck. I haven't seen one in person but I did hear that these only come in one size. Not sure if that is true, but for those of you that own one, what's the sizing is like for these? I'm 5'6", 30" inseam, and ride a Medium 2019 Jeffsy for reference.

Edit: Update for anyone who may come across this. I managed to snag one and it fits just fine. I'd be surprised if anyone over 5'10ish doesn't find this a bit cramped, but perhaps that's just personal preference. I'll be upgrading the drivetrain, handlebars, and grips, and will get some new tires for next winter. For beating around this summer, I think the stock Kenda's will be ok.

My local Costco seems to get 4 of them in stock once a year every spring.

You're right in the ideal size bracket for the Northrock. I'm 5'10" with a shortish inseam and it fits me though I feel it's maybe a little bit on the small end of a good fit in terms of cockpit length. I put 175mm cranks and a set of 4.7 Vee Bulldozers on it and in that config my toes occasionally contact the front tire. I bet it would go away if I went to 170 all the same. The XCF (10 speed Deore) is the one I bought. Great bang for the buck, but I did have to make a few mods to get it up to scratch. The cranks and chainring, for sure. The stock ones are 155mm and 34t. I put an old set of LX square taper cranks and a 30t RF chainring on it as well as a 710mm Chromag bar i had lying around to replace the 650mm stock one. The stock tires are serviceable on hardpack but are sketchy for cornering. I got the Vees cheap so it made sense to do that. All in all, I have less than $750 into it and it's a perfectly serviceable snow bike. Weighs about the same as the entry level fatbikes from the major manufacturers in the config I'm running. Very happy with it, TBH.

Hi there, I got one of these last fall and have studded the tires for winter riding.

I also want to get a smaller front chain ring, so my local bike store ordered in the ring based on the OEM part number (76), but only 2 of the holes fit as it's not symmetrical on the bike.

So I emailed Northrock for advice and asked the bike shop to quote me cost to replace the crank with something that is easier to find for a front ring...

I went with some inexpensive square taper 170 mm cranks and a 30 T Race Face narrow wide chain ring fits perfectly. It's been several years but I think I found the cranks on Amazon for less than $50.00.
