How hefty is your SB150? Mine is right near 35 lbs, just curious.
Medium C1 with Cushcore Pro rear and XC front, MRP bashguard, OneUp EDC in stem, OneUp Pump and bottle cage, and RideWrap is 36lbs 6oz. Luckily it goes downhill just fine because it aint much fun on flat ground! Got a second set of wheels coming that not gonna run CC for lighter trail days and I think that should make it significantly easier to pedal around.

I don’t mind pedaling honestly, but I just consider my component spec that I have and just curious how “light” people have perhaps tried to build them up to be.
Soon to be upgrading the Fox Float X2 to an EXT Storia V3 coil in the next week or so and I bet that’ll put it into the 35 and change weight class. I definitely feel the heft much more so when pulling wheelies, bunny hopping, or jumping doubles.
I’ve got a conundrum where I have an 8mm spacer under my stem and if I bump the spacer from that to 15mm then it’s too much and feels too high when I’m climbing.
Running the frame with a cascade link, so geometry is very similar to the previous frame I owned and rode which was a large transition sentinel that was also carbon. Just trying to find that balance as I thoroughly enjoy wheelies while descending (good fun and instantly puts a smile on my face.)
