SB150 C2 build or wait for the T2?

I'm stuck between buying an SB150 that's in stock now with a C2 build or ordering and potentially waiting till next year for a T2 to arrive. Anyone got any advice or thoughts on this? I'd be changing the brakes to Magura anyway and putting X01 Axs groupset on to replace the GX. Is there much difference between the 2 frames that's noticeable for your average rider or is it mainly just the factory suspension?

Thanks

Hi Dosstevo.
You raise a couple of very good points. I think Yeti bikes are a lovely colour and I really like the badge. At SOSHQ we do a lot of fine tuning and I'd highly recommend the SN3rge brakes. Have you considered the Apollo Gradient 17"?

The TURQ series used I higher modulus carbon material. That’s fancy talk for more money. But in reality, the TURQ uses a higher quality carbon material, which equates to more stiffness and about 300g weight savings. I am perfectly happy with my C2 bike. I am not racing, so I do not really care about weight.

I was set on the T2 build but every shop I tried to order one through said it won't be here till April 2022 and then they said it's due a refresh later In the year so I decided against. Managed to get a pivot firebird in October so not much of a wait just hope it pedals aswel as the yeti I tried.

Got my C1 build (late last year), which turned into a C2 build b/c Shimano stuff couldn't be had from the shop.

I preferred the C builds because it got me into a build without having to spend money on stuff I didn't want/need.

I prefer Shimano so, I swapped out the brakes to SLX Quad piston brakes, sold off the DT swiss 1900's and ordered new wheels (I9 hydra hubs and Stan's EX3 rims), and finally, ordered an Avy (Avalanche Downhill Racing) tuned Marzocchi CR shock w/a 450# Progressive spring. I have done nothing to the Fox 38 Performance Fork that came with my build, and, I have no plans too! Even the Performance Fork is excellent! Also, I have ZERO complaints about my "lower quality" carbon frame. I'd buy a C build again in a heartbeat!

Get the C2 build, you won't have any issues with the carbon build-up.
Just my $0.02.
