Hi all.

So I am completely new to mountain biking and I am looking for a really good pair of knee pads.
Years ago I managed to tear my meniscus when stepping off a ladder. As such I am trying to find a good knee pad that will not only protect me in the event of a fall but also support the knee nicely. Tia

I have an ACL inury from my mid20's, at the time I got an MX style knee brace for recovery But, it was impossible to ride in. At that time I was into BMX but even for MTB it would've been super uncomfertable, near on impoosible to pedal any distance in. I've gotten by fine without it though, still very concious of my 'dodgy knee'
There are strap type knee supports that could be worth looking into? maybe they will be better for any amount of pedaling

Slight update.

Just been to physio and he told me that any decent quality knee pad would offer enough support for my use.

Thanks for the replies though Smile
