Hi, shop fitted the large rubber stick on guard to the crank area but I also got a smaller strip of the same stuff, any idea where it's supposed to go??!

That's the bit, awesome pdf cheers, will file that away.

Not sure I'll bother fitting the guard, it's about 1/2 the width of the tube an only a few inches long so cant see what it is supposed to do, rack / carrier rub protection maybe, I've got a short fork top mud guard and I've wrapped the full length of the under side of that tube now anyway.

It's a shuttle guard, so if your bike is in the back of a pickup truck resting over the tail gate the rattle and rub won't damage your down tube.
